Rare LHD factory X Pack car

What can we say about this car!! It really is a special thing.

3 owners in total in Belgium and now one UK registered owner.

Unlike the UK supplied X Pack cars that were put together at the dealership this particular car was built at the Ford factory in Antwerp. The RS is in fabulous condition, both inside and out, The paint is bright and has great gloss and the interior has no rips and very little sign of wear plus features a host of extras!! Having driven the RS we note the clutch feels good the gears are easy to select and that the car stops on a sixpence with the help of the Wilwood brakes! The underside has had minor repairs in the past but you would expect that on this age of car but overall is extremely solid and requires no welding or repairs.

Our RS2000 is fitted with genuine FORD glass fibre wheel arches with front spoiler; Group 1 Downdraught twin webber carburettor based unit producing 150bhp, genuine RS 13 inch alloy wheels (freshly powder coated) 7.5 inch wide all round wrapped in brand new period style Dunlop tyres, upgraded LEDA adjustable suspension, 'quick' steering rack, quick gear set, adjustable track control arms, Modified and strengthened front cross member, limited-slip differential, Wilwood upgraded 4 pot brake calipers with ventilated brake discs and heavy-duty pads and a set of beautiful condition original Scheel seats standard in the European cars.

The RS came from Belgium with a strut brace and KNN air filters fitted and have now been removed but are included in the sale. As is the original book pack including certificate of conformity, owners manual and service books. More recently in the UK the new owner has had a full engine service and cambelt, the carburettors set up by and expert plus sourced and installed an original air box on the top.

The clock reads 1400KM but we are under no illusion this is correct and have no history to say exactly what distance has been covered but one would assume it has covered 101400...

A recent recommission includes new Bilstein rear shocks, full new exhaust system and new radiator with full coolant flush.

We think this is an extremely rare car having only had these discrete handling modifications in this time and you'll struggle to find a cleaner example for this sort of money!
