The nice thing about this car is that it has been used and isn’t the usual garage queen. It has already surpassed the 100k mile landmark allowing the next owner to use and enjoy!
There are cars on the market with lower mileages, these cars are likely to have little evidence of repair work! Oh, and they’ll be considerably more money too!
The file on this car itemises EVERY nut, bolt and washer including a total expenditure per year! It really has wanted for nothing. Included in the extensive main dealer and independent Porsche specialist work completed is a clutch replacement at 95k miles and a top engine rebuild including new chains and slippers, reconditioned cylinder heads, main bearings and big end bearings at 103k miles at a cost of just under £8k as well as over 20 services. The engine pulls well and the sound is sweet. Having had the car on the ramp ourselves there is no evidence of previous welding or oil leaks requiring attention.

The car is slightly lower than original as it has Bilstein shock absorbers and eibach lowering springs all round with the 17 inch Porsche Cup wheels with spacers giving the car a much better stance and an 'RS' look. The history indicates front powerflex suspension bushes which will firm up the ride further. The steering is smooth and accurate.

The car handles so well! The gearbox is extremely smooth. These 964’s were a massive step forward for Porsche as the earlier 911’s do not feel anywhere near as good to drive.
